Built in 1927, this par 71 course offers enough variety of terrain to challenge even the most experienced golfer. The course was designed by Tom Bendelow. Water hazards come into play on a number of holes and sand bunkers are spread throughout the course. The terrain is hilly and very lush. The course is owned and operated by Lincolnshire Country Club, which is located across the street.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,087 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,699 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 554 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 15, a par-3 that plays to 159 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 7, a 518 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Lincoln Oaks Golf Course is # 15,the 159 yard par-3.

Played course since new owners took over in 2007. Greens, fairways are always in great shape. Always see the owner and treats me like a member. Free golf balls at the range before you play is a nice gesture. Fair course runs thru cool neighborhood. Friendly staff and rangers that keep a eye on pace of play. Play in a weekday league and never get tired of playing Lincoln Oaks. Good food and quality staff. Seems like every time I play the golfers I meet are happy to be there.

Played Lincoln Oaks for the first time and what a treat. $28 for cart and golf for this Bendelow design was a bargain. I live in the city of Chicago and it took only 30 minutes and well worth the drive. Condition of the course was better than a couple country clubs I have played. Staff was great from the minute I entered the pro shop. Hot Dog at the turn was a great value at 4 bucks including chips.Actually booked a small outing for 20 golfer in late august and the owner was great to deal with. Treat yourself to a course in awesome shape at a affordable price.

I had not played this course in the last two years and I had forgot what a fine venue this is. No downside and only $27.00 senior rate. How can you go wrong? I must play Lincoln Oaks more often.

The course is of average length. There are not to many sand traps. A few holes water comes into play. The course has six par three-s but they are challanging. The back nine seems to be the easier than the front, and my score reflected as much.
